Information about the apartment:

• Located at a 5-minute walk from the center of town in Vaison-la-Romaine, in the Provence region of southeast France, with a view of the medieval city and Mt. Ventoux
• A compact 400 sq. ft. on the 4th floor (3^eme étage in France) of a newer 5-story building, with both elevator and stairway access
• Locked entry into the building
• Apartment has toilet room; bathroom with shower/bathtub, sink, and washer/dryer combination machine; separate bedroom with door to balcony; kitchen opening to salon/living room; and balcony.
• Balcony has sliding-door access from the salon.
• Tile floors throughout
• Kitchen is all-electric, newly-remodeled with tile backsplash and with refrigerator, microwave, sink, dishwasher, two-burner stove and full oven. Kitchen/dining area seats four.
• There is a small electric grill for cooking on the balcony.
• Bedroom has full-size (double) bed, open armoire, night stands with lamps & clock radio, and ceiling fan.
• Salon has sofa that opens out to full-size (double) bed; apt. can sleep four though it is most comfortable for two.
• Entryway has large storage closet with linens and towels provided.
• France Telecom telephone line for all calls including free European and US/Canada international calls to land lines.
• High-speed Internet access is available in the apartment (bring your own laptop) or at one of the local Internet cafés in town.
• Stereo radio with iPod docking port and CD player. (Bring your own iPod.)
• Parking is available in the large free public lot across the street.
• The apartment is a five-minute walk from the center of town, with post office, banks, bakeries, cafés,restaurants and a small grocery store. An additional four blocks to an American-style grocery store.
• Market day in Vaison is Tuesday, with markets on other days in towns throughout the region.
• Vaison is on the Route des Vins (Wine Road) in the Côtes du Rhône region.
